500 Facebook Likes!
Thanks to your support! I passed a new milestone yesterday with 500 Facebook Likes. In the world of Facebook, it’s not a huge number, but you have to start somewhere. I will continue to highlight the areas that need improvement in policing, how families can obtain help and what needs to be fixed.
One of the issues that I will be addressing is the de-funding for the free DNA Program at The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System or NamUs for short. This will put an undue burden on family members of missing persons now and into the future. The first step was having Todd Matthews, the Director of Case Management of NamUs on WRCN 103.9FM to explain the problem. I will be posting that interview shortly.
Another issue with the information on NamUs is the Wikipedia Page. It is grossly inadequate and in desperate need of a makeover. Wikipedia is an often destination for information seekers, so this is very important.
If you want to help, you can. Ask me how on Facebook.
